Description: The article describes the history of the Kong family. Tom Kong came to Canada in 1922. He had been an herbalist and a teacher until he purchased Glenbum Fish and Chips restaurant in Burnaby, BC in 1944. Prior to WWII, May, Toms wife, formed an acrobatic troupe with their 10 children and herself. The troupe performed wildly in both Canada and the United States. Tom and May passed away in the 1970s.
